LESA Event

The Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association (LESA) is proud to present this year's Law of Beer

November 16, 2007
7:00 p.m.
Room 110

This event is far more than just a good time to drink good beer.

In fact, the beer drinking is incidental to the discussion of legal issues surrounding the creation and operation of internationally recognized breweries.

Topics range from administrative/local government law to intellectual property rights to fundamental constitutional questions.

This year's panel of speakers are:

Jack Joyce, CEO/Founder of Rogue Ales
Jerome Chicvara, VP Marketing at Rogue Ales
Jim Parker, former board member of Oregon Brewers Guild and current owner of Oaks Bottom Public House in Portland, Oregon

The panelists that attend this event have a practical perspective on life and the law. They offer distinct viewpoints on the application of legal skills to the real world that often escape the normal theoretical discussions one finds in a stuffy law school classroom.

LESA also sponsors events such as Law of Beer, Law of Wine, In-House Council forums, and Venture Capitalists panels, in addition to offering business cards and local wine.
