Attend the annual Business Law Jamboree on Thursday, April 5, and find out more about the outstanding business classes, clinics, and seminars that the law school offers.
Round One begins at noon in Room 184.
Professor Illig describes what a career as a business or transactional lawyer would look like (and to compare such a career to a career as a litigator or regulatory lawyer), and also to assure interested students that they can become business lawyers even if they didn't major in economics or accounting in college. Lunch will be provided.
Round Two continues in Room 110 at 4:30 p.m.
Professors Illig and Sneirson will host an hour-long discussion of classes and opportunities geared toward business.
Round Three ends the Jamboree in Suite 220 at 5:30 p.m.
Professor Aldave will host the annual Business Law Reception.
- Recognition of the Outstanding Student in Law and Entrepreneurship.
- Introduction of the incoming LESA board members.
- Introduction of Mexican and US student members of the USMBA.
Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served, and music will be provided by the fabulous law-student band, The Distillers.
