LESA Event

The Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association (LESA) is proud to present this year's In-House Counsel Forum

March 8, 2007
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Room 142

Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

It's a career path that offers worlds of opportunity to ambitious business law students - the role of corporate counsel. A panel discussion on the topic brings lawyers with experience in both private practice, as well as in-house counsel for corporations and a major university, OHSU. The panel will discuss their individual career paths to become in-house counsel, the pros and cons of working in-house, as well as how corporate counsel differs from private practice. All students interested in business law, corporate law, and in-house counsel are invited to attend this event.

This year's panel includes:

Elizabeth Bauer is in-house counsel and CFO of CK Markets in Brookings, OR. She is also on the advisory board for the Center for Law and Entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon School of Law. She was recognized as the Outstanding Student in Law and Entrepreneurship by the Center for Law and Entrepreneurship in 2003.
