The Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association (LESA) is proud to present this year's In-House Counsel Forum

Speakers

Edward Gerdes is Vice President and General Counsel of Beau Delicious! International, LLC, franchisor of Cafe Yumm!. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Law Section and a former Chair of the Sole and Small Firm Practice Section of the Oregon State Bar.

Mr. Gerdes is a former law clerk to Federal District Court Judge Roger Foley. He has worked for the largest law firm in Nevada, has been a legal aid attorney, and has practiced in his own law firm.

Mr. Gerdes graduated from the University of Oregon Law Center in 1988 after serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Environmental Law & Litigation.

Published opinions include: /Rathgeber v. Hemenway Realtors/Better Homes and Gardens/, (Or. S. Ct. 2003) and /Leppanen v. Lane Transit District/, (Or. Ct. App. 2002).
