Ian Richardson's business law practice includes a substantial focus on information technology companies, and he has acted as general counsel to software and equipment developers, manufacturers, resellers, and other technology firms.

Mr. Richardson has helped his business clients meet a variety of challenges, from start-up to merger/acquisition, and he is experienced in corporate governance and finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, technology licensing and development, product distribution and sales, and a broad spectrum of other commercial transactions.

Recently, Mr. Richardson returned as a partner with Gleaves Swearingen LLP after an 18 month term as in-house counsel for New World Brands, Inc., a Eugene-based VoIP equipment and service provider, where he served as General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer."
