BRIAN VODICKA was formerly a professor at the University of Texas Graduate School of Business, and is a retired attorney and CPA. Since retirement, he has spent his time focusing on investing, with some successes and some failures. He has experienced, first-hand, multiple securities fraud situations, from the bubbles of the 90’s and today’s financial crisis, to stock churning and Austin Texas’ version of the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme.
Having recently gained his freedom from the shackles of a two year confidentiality agreement, Prof. Vodicka is now at liberty to share with you the truth about a Wall Street crime syndicate operating from New York and Vancouver, and headquartered in the Cayman Islands. Professor Vodicka will:
- unfold the perfect white collar crime scheme, totally immune from criminal prosecution and (effectively) civil prosecution as well;
- expose the corruption between both Bush White Houses and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission;
- submit, argue and prove the most critical factor in considering an investment in a "start-up" company is the disclosure of "controlling"
persons;
- submit, argue and prove that the securities regulations are ineffective in disclosing the "hidden agendas" in a public company;
- touch upon the due diligence process in investing in start-up companies;
- explain why reverse mergers are the most common form of "going public";
- provide secrets of plaintiff's securities litigation trial strategies;
- step you through a private placement memorandum (PPM);
- open your eyes to the poison pill provision of the PSLRA;
- show how the insurance companies will wiggle out of their liability under their errors and omissions policies to avoid paying off defrauded investors;
- show how the Supreme Court has all but rubber-stamped and condoned securities fraud and fraudsters; and
- argue that today's legal environment so disfavors the investing public that you will be committing malpractice to advise any client to invest in a stock traded in the OTC:BB.
Please join Professor Aldave and speaker Brian Vodicka for a fascinating look at white collar skullduggery.
