Sustainable Business Law Statement of Completion

In order to earn a Sustainable Business Law Statement of Completion, a student must satisfactorily complete the following courses:

  • Administrative Law
  • Business Associations
  • Securities Regulations

A successful candidate must also satisfactorily complete either Natural Resources Law, or Environment and Pollution.

In addition, a successful candidate will satisfactorily complete two of the following courses:

  • Climate Change Law and Policy
  • Comparative Environmental Law
  • Energy and the Law
  • Environmental Justice
  • Global Environmental Challenges
  • Hazardous Waste
  • International Environmental Law
  • Renewable Energy Law
  • Sustainability
  • Water Recources Law

A successful candidate will also satisfactorily complete two of the following courses:

  • Accounting for Lawyers
  • Advanced Business Associations
  • Business Planning
  • Environmental Tax
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Private Equity & Venture Capital
  • Small Business Clinic
  • Sustainable Tax and Business Practices
  • Tax Policy

In addition to completing the above-referenced curriculum, a candidate for the Sustainable Business Statement of Completion must satisfactorily complete an appropriate paper, clinic, externship, business plan, integrative project, or substantially equivalent work, approved by a faculty member.
