Annual Business Innovation and Law Conference

Each fall, the Business Innovation and Law Conference attracts attorneys to discuss topics such as business lawyering in the Pacific Rim economy, and representing small and emerging businesses in Oregon. In 2007, the Conference, "Oregon Land Use and Development Tensions," addressed Oregon land-use and environmental laws and their effects on real estate development. Speakers included Ed Sullivan, Dave Hunnicutt, Bob Stacey, Tim Bernasek, Don Schellenberg, Jill Gelineau and Richard Allen.

2007 - "Oregon Land Use and Development Tensions"

This conference addressed Oregon's land use and environmental laws and their effects on real estate development. Speakers included Ed Sullivan, Dave Hunnicutt, Bob Stacey, Tim Bernasek, Don Schellenberg, Jill Gelineau and Richard Allen.

2006 - "Representing Oregon's Small and Emerging Business"

This conference featured a combination of business, legal and academic perspectives in common pursuit of improving Oregon's business climate. Speakers included Jim Baumgartner, Mark Green, Susan Eggum, Bill Pierznik, Tom Tongue and Brenda Meltebeke.

2005 - "Lawyering in a Global Economy"

Speakers included Paul Kelly, Al AuYeung, Lillian Tsai, Carol Emory, Chris Helmer, Brent Renison and Peter Jarvis.

2004 - "Making Oregon Business Friendly"

Speakers included Sandra McDonough, Bill Thorndike, Bill Moshofsky, Ed Sullivan, Paul Kelly, Eva Kripalani, Don Krahmer, and MardiLyn Saathoff.

2003 - "Restoring Oregon's Economy: Business Innovation and Law"

Speakers included Duncan Wyse, Peter Bragdon, David Chen, Randall Edwards, David Bragdon, Kirby Dyess, and Peggy Miller.
