Interview Program

Held annually the first Friday in March, Oregon Law's Career Services hosts the Portland Interview Program. This program reaches out to smaller, Portland-area law firms and to government employers that traditionally do not interview on law school campuses. By offering interviews in downtown Portland, the program provides these employers with a convenient opportunity to meet with promising candidates - and students with expanded employment options.

In addition to the formal Portland Interview Program, Oregon Law (working through the Law School Alumni Association and the Career Services office) sponsors an annual Portland Alumni Mentoring Program. The Mentoring Program introduces Oregon Law students to the Portland legal community, helping Oregon Law students build closer ties. To kick off the program, the Law School Alumni Association hosts an annual social in Portland early each winter semester, bringing together Oregon Law students and Portland-based attorney-mentors.
