Eric Blaine, '10
Eric was born in the small agricultural town of Goldendale, Washington, long before it became a hotbed for wind-farms. He grew up in Portland and Eugene, and received a BA in political science from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Since then, he’s worked as in heavy machinery manufacturing, medical health insurance billing, and building material sales. Since coming to law school, Eric has focused on business law, working as a legal intern for a local emerging business as it planned for and implemented a franchise expansion. He’s also worked at a Washington-based business-and-litigation law firm in areas as diverse as secured land transactions, start-up loans, employment law, and cross-jurisdictional asset sales to public and private entities. Eric has been looking forward to participating in the Small Business Clinic since coming to law school, and is eager to put his experience from both in and outside the classroom to use.
